Unmanned Cargo Helicopters
In the last few years, the global drone industry has grown by leaps and bounds and there are a few Indian entities which are also part of this fantastic growth. Newly released Drone regulations in India has also accelerated this growth trajectory and paved the way for Indian drone companies compete with international players in the field.
Right now, most of the drone companies are focusing on aerial video coverages, spray pesticides over crops and deliver light weight packages over shorter distances. But few drone firms take up challenging tasks such as monitor off shore oil drilling platforms, deliver medicines and vaccines to remote/ Hilly inaccessible locations.
Redefining Drone Technology
But the scope does not stop there, We at Enlite Helicopters are working to take this drone technology to the next level by addressing issues that has been haunting us for ages. Being in the product development for over 5 years with experts from Industry leading aviation companies like Airbus and ADA, our product has reached a high level of maturity now. And we are in talk with the Indian defence who are expecting a Tech demonstration in a few month’s time.
Traditional Multicopter Drones developed and used by most firms fly at a top speed of around 60 km/h, their range is about 5~6 km, these battery operated drones have an endurance of under 30 mins and their payload capacity is only around 2 to 5 kg.
